Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

In the morning/afternoon, upon arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your safari guide will greet you. You will then transfer to a cosy mid-range lodge in Arusha, nestled at the base of Mount Meru. In the evening, unwind from your travels, enjoy a welcome dinner at the lodge, and receive a detailed briefing on the safari adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha National Park

After breakfast, you will journey to Arusha National Park, a hidden gem known for its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. A guided walking safari will give you an up-close experience with giraffes, zebras, and buffalo, set against the majestic backdrop of Mount Meru. In the afternoon, you can relish a picnic lunch by the picturesque Momella Lakes, where you may spot flamingos and other water birds. In the evening, return to your lodge in Arusha for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

You will head out for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and unique baobab trees. The 2-hour drive will provide scenic views of the Tanzanian countryside. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to spot lions, leopards, and a variety of antelope species, stopping for lunch at a scenic picnic spot within the park. In the evening, check into a mid-range tented camp or lodge near the park, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park and Mto wa Mbu Cultural Visit

You will visit Lake Manyara National Park in the morning, known for its rare tree-climbing lions, abundant birdlife, and lush forests. A morning game drive will allow you to spot elephants, hippos, and colourful bird species along the lake. In the afternoon, after lunch, take a short drive to the town of Mto wa Mbu for a cultural tour. The tour will include exploring the bustling local market, visiting a banana plantation, and interacting with local tribes, including the Maasai and Chagga people. In the evening, return to your accommodation near Lake Manyara for dinner and relaxation.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

In the morning, your journey to the iconic Serengeti National Park will begin by driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A pause at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint will allow you to take in the breathtaking view. In the afternoon, upon arriving in Serengeti, you will embark on an afternoon game drive, witnessing expansive plains teeming with wildlife. Depending on the season, you may catch a glimpse of the Great Migration, featuring wildebeest and zebras. In the evening, check into a mid-range lodge or tented camp in the central Serengeti, where you can enjoy a starlit dinner, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 6: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

In the morning, an early game drive will allow you to spot predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, which is one of the best times to observe them. Breakfast in the bush will provide a truly immersive experience. In the afternoon, you will continue exploring different regions of the Serengeti, such as the Seronera Valley or Grumeti River, depending on the season and wildlife activity. A picnic lunch in the park will help maximize your time observing the incredible wildlife. In the evening, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight, sharing stories of the day’s adventures around the campfire.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater and Departure

In the morning, after an early breakfast, head to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the world's most densely populated wildlife areas. A half-day game drive after descending into the crater will allow you to spot the renowned Big Five, including the rare black rhinoceros. In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls to begin your journey back to Arusha. In the evening, depending on your flight time, you can enjoy a farewell dinner in Arusha before transferring to Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable 7-day safari.
